Russian President Vladimir Putin has said during a conversation with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Kiev is staking on the escalation of hostilities at the instigation of Western countries.
“Vladimir Putin has stated that the Kiev authorities, at the instigation of their Western handlers, are still making a dangerous bet on the escalation of hostilities,” the Kremlin said in a statement on its website.
He noted that the Ukrainian side was committing war crimes and organizing sabotage on Russian territory.
Earlier, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, said that the Kiev regime should be changed and Ukraine should be given the status of a neutral state.
