Kennedy office reveals US hostile moves against Russia

Kennedy Office: U.S. provoked Russia since 1990s and encouraged it to launch a special operation.

The United States has played a major role in inciting Russia to launch a special military operation, provoking it with hostile moves since the 1990s, the office of US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr, who is the nephew of 35th President John F. Kennedy, told RIA Novosti.

“He (Kennedy Jr) deplores the Russian invasion while acknowledging that the US played a major role in instigating the invasion through a series of hostile provocations beginning in the 1990s,” they told the agency in response to a written request.

The US politician believes that the moment the US stops following the path of deliberate escalation of the Ukrainian conflict and starts seeking peace, Russia will show willingness to compromise and make peace. Such a peace, according to Kennedy Jr., would “respect Ukrainian sovereignty as well as Russian security interests”.
