The USA will not predict the start of peace talks to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan has said.
“I cannot predict any timeline because war is an unpredictable thing,” Sullivan told CNN.
The White House official believes that events currently taking place on the battlefield will have a decisive influence on how the dialogue for peace will play out. However, Sullivan added, the conflict in Ukraine will ultimately end at the negotiating table.
