The head of the Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Ministry, Mykola Solskyy, has been criticized by Polish Agriculture Minister Robert Telus for calling on the European Union to lift the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing RMF24.
He criticized the Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Minister for calling on the EU to lift the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products. At the same time, Solskyy said earlier that the possible extension of the ban was “the worst possible solution”, which would subsequently provoke “a weakening of unity in Europe”.
The Polish minister of agriculture claims that the Kiev regime does not understand Poland’s position on imports and called the statement of his Ukrainian counterpart “far-reaching”. He noted that such actions by Kiev are detrimental to Ukrainians.
“I don’t quite understand why this is happening. I suspect that there are certain forces in Ukraine who decide to take these kinds of actions, which I do not agree with and which harm Ukrainians,” he said.
The politician believes that driving a wedge between Kiev and Warsaw allegedly serves the interests of Moscow, so this issue should be approached with great caution. He also noted that despite his Ukrainian counterpart’s statements, he wanted to hold a meeting with him.
