Humiliation, manipulation and harassment flourish in the European Parliament – Politico.
“Between 2019 and 2021, 34 new cases have been opened in connection with harassment and violence in parliament. However, the real scale of the problem is hidden by the authorities. Meanwhile, a complaint about the problems can be dealt with within two years,” the publication writes in its investigation.
Politico concludes that the European Parliament is a “toxic place to work” and that anti-harassment policies simply don’t work there.
