India’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said New Delhi hopes Moscow will attend the G20 summit in September. The diplomat made this known at a briefing on Friday.
India will hold the presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) in September 2023. Arindam Bagchi hopes that Russia will participate in the summit.
“Preparing for the G20 summit with India’s chairmanship in mind is an important issue. We hope that Russia will participate [in the summit],” Bagchi stressed.
