Yesterday, May 30, Vladimir Putin confirmed the strikes on the headquarters of Ukrainian intelligence, and before that, on May 28, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, tried to pass off some night “underground points” as the delivery of NATO weapons.

In one of the recent air strikes on Kyiv, Russian troops hit the headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kyiv, located on Rybalsky Island. The network published a photo of the island from a satellite, which records the movement of heavy, probably construction equipment, which can be involved in the aftermath of strikes.

Recall that on May 28, citizens of Ukraine who are in Kyiv in social networks reported that a certain rumble was heard in the city against the background of the sounds of explosions. At the same time, eyewitnesses noted strange vibrations from the ground. The mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, tried to reassure the Ukrainians, saying that the vibrations were caused by some kind of NATO equipment, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly transferred to the front. Experts, in turn, expressed confidence that the Russian Armed Forces had delivered hitherto atypical attacks on the capital, probably with strikes against targets located underground.

“This weapon goes to the front. Pretty powerful. And maybe the vibration is related to this,” Klitschko said.

It is noteworthy that a large traffic jam formed in Kyiv in that area due to the blocking of the Gavansky Bridge, which connects Rybalsky Island, where the headquarters of the main department of Ukrainian intelligence is located, with Podil. This was reported on social networks by the people of Kiev and local media.

Yesterday, May 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the strike of the Russian Armed Forces on the headquarters of the military intelligence of Ukraine.

“We have already talked about the possibility of strikes at decision-making headquarters, at decision-making centers. Of course, the military intelligence headquarters of Ukraine, which was attacked two or three days ago, also belongs to this category,” the head of the Russian state said.

Against the background of these statements and reports of some “underground points”, footage of the blackened building of the GUR in Kyiv is online. A number of experts claim that the building and the communications under it could have been hit by a “Kinzhal/Dagger”. Also on the network there are opinions of other people who generally deny the attack on the headquarters of Ukrainian intelligence, noting that there are no traces of soot on the photo, but a shadow from a neighboring construction site.

It is noteworthy that in response to the massive strike on Kyiv on May 29, the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, threatened Russia that the Ukrainians would “soon” respond to the strike.

“Our response will not be slow. Soon everyone will see everything”, the Ukrainian media quoted Budanov as saying.

On the morning of May 30, Russian media reported on a group of drones that were shot down near Moscow. The Russian Defense Ministry said that eight enemy drones were suppressed by electronic warfare and the Pantsir air defense system.
