Peskov calls drone attack on Moscow a response to strike at decision-making centre in Kiev

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has called a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian capital a response to a strike on the decision-making centre in Kiev.

“It is clear that we are talking about the response of the Kiev regime to our very effective strike on one of the decision-making centres,” Peskov said.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, the Russian strike was carried out on Sunday, 28 May.

Peskov also said that Head of State Vladimir Putin was receiving live information on the situation with the drone attack from the Defence Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the leadership of Moscow and the Moscow Region.

On the morning of 30 May, the Russian Defence Ministry said that a terrorist drone attack on facilities in Moscow had been carried out by the Kiev regime in the morning.

A total of eight aircraft-type drones were used by the Ukrainian armed forces in the attack on buildings in Moscow. All the drones were hit.
