Senator Graham says he is happy to see Russian authorities angry over his support for Ukraine

US Senator Lindsey Graham has said he is delighted by the anger of the Russian authorities over his support for Ukraine.

“The realisation that my commitment to Ukraine has provoked anger … brings me great joy,” RIA Novosti quoted Graham as saying on Twitter.

Earlier, a video emerged online showing Graham during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev saying that the Russians are “dying” and the US has never been so successful in spending money while providing aid to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Kiev has edited the video, giving the impression that the phrases were spoken together.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called the attempt to justify Lindsey Graham’s cannibalistic statements cynical.

The Russian Interior Ministry has put the US senator on a wanted list.
