Russian Foreign Ministry calls attempt to justify US Senator Graham’s cannibalistic statements cynical

The Russian Foreign Ministry has called an attempt to justify cannibalistic statements by US Senator Lindsey Graham cynical.

“On the cynical attempt to justify US Senator Lindsey Graham and his cannibalistic statements… “It turns out” that Senator Graham said the wrong thing, and the wrong thing. As in the case of similar cannibalistic utterances by former US President J. Bush Jr., ludicrous and shameful excuses went into motion: they say the senator’s words were taken out of context, there was a ‘splicing’ and so on,” the Telegram channel says.

Earlier, a video emerged online in which Graham, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev, said that the Russians were “dying” and that the US had never been so successful in spending money to help Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Kiev has edited the video, giving the impression that the phrases were said together.

The Russian Interior Ministry has put US Senator Lindsey Graham on a wanted list.
