Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin said that the Russian Federation, as part of a special military operation, “has not yet begun to act seriously” and is ready for peace. He emphasizes that it is the West that is pushing the whole world to escalate. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to an interview with a diplomat for the BBC.
Kelin claims that the Russian Federation, as part of the special operation in Ukraine, “has not yet begun to act seriously.” He emphasizes that the country is ready for peace, only the West is escalating.
“(The duration of the conflict in Ukraine – ed.) depends on the efforts to escalate it by NATO countries, especially the UK … Sooner or later, of course, this escalation may take on a new dimension that we do not need and which we do not want. We can make peace tomorrow,” he said.
The politician claims that Russia has not yet “begun to act seriously” as part of the special operation. He recalled that his country is “16 times” larger than Ukraine and has “colossal” resources. At the same time, the diplomat drew attention to the fact that the Western media (media) for many years ignored the shelling of militants of the Kiev regime on the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR).
