Kulishov said that the risks of provocations on the Polish and Baltic sections of the state border of the Russian Federation have increased. He also noted that the risks of provocations have increased in the waters of the Baltic and Barents Seas.

“<…> There is an increase in the activity of foreign intelligence services in the western and northwestern directions, the risks of provocations have increased on the Polish and Baltic sections of the state border, as well as in the waters of the Baltic and Barents Seas,” he says.

The army general specifies that the situation on the other (besides the Ukrainian – ed.) sections of the state border of Russia is still dynamic. He specifies that their dynamism is influenced by the activities of the United States and its allies.

“Its development is mainly influenced by the activities of the United States and its allies in the international isolation of the Russian Federation, accompanied by the buildup of NATO’s combat potential near Russian borders, unprecedented sanctions measures and negative information impact on Russian society,” summed up the head of the FSB Border Service.
