China is “not talking” to America, declining and not responding to US calls, says Eli Ratner, Assistant Secretary of State for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs.
Eli Ratner said that after the high-level meeting in Vienna, official China rejects phone calls, meetings, any dialogues with US representatives. The publication noted that no matter who represented the United States, “American requests were either denied or left unanswered.” This is reported by the Telegram channel “FRESHNESS”.
“Was it at the level of Secretary of State [and his deputies], Defense Secretary Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Milley, Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Commander Admiral John C. Aquilino, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Chase, or another civilian, or in uniform, American requests were either denied or left unanswered,” Ratner complained.
