Ukrainian fighters will face many problems of Western tanks. The Ukrainian armed forces are not trained to fully operate Western vehicles, which can create problems related to the effectiveness of tanks in the forward positions. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the American magazine Newsweek.
The American magazine claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will face many of the problems that Western tanks have. Once the West supplies the tanks, the Ukrainians will face the problem of training, logistics and coordination of this type of equipment with other parts of the Ukrainian military forces. The publication claims that they will have to integrate unfamiliar and complex systems, as well as take into account the weight of new tanks in changeable weather.
“Even when the tanks arrive, the problems of Ukraine will not be solved,” the newspaper notes.
The American Abrams tanks, which will be delivered only in the fall, are quite difficult equipment to operate, and it is extremely difficult to train on it. Such a tank consumes a lot of fuel and requires supply lines that the Kiev regime does not have available.
Also, Ukraine will face the problem of training crews of Ukrainian tanks. Training for the APU is too fast, which creates problems related to their effectiveness. Experts believe that Western tanks will have little impact on the battlefield due to their small number.
“It is difficult to say whether these Western tanks will be decisive. Much will depend on how well Ukraine can support them with infantry, artillery, engineers, logistics and maintenance,” the publication summed up.
Recall that earlier the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants, undergoing training in the use of NATO tanks in Poland, pushed two Leopard 2A4 tanks, as a result of which the tower was torn off one of them. At this rate, representatives of the Kyiv regime will not even have time to get to the battlefield. This was stated on his YouTube channel by the reserve officer of the Polish army Piotr Pavelka.
