Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the United States’ view that its self-preservation is ensured by the Atlantic Ocean erroneous.
A snippet of Lavrov’s statement was published by the host of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin,” Pavel Zarubin in his Telegram channel.
The Russian foreign minister said that Washington’s view that they are protected by the Atlantic Ocean is “a strong delusion if they are going to bring the world to the line of World War III.”
In April, Lavrov said that US leader Joe Biden and the West had started talking about World War III when Russia was “generally silent”.
