NYT: US authorities have admitted that the Kremlin was attacked by Ukraine’s intelligence services

US authorities have admitted that the drone attack on the Kremlin in May was organized by a Ukrainian intelligence service.

This was reported by The New York Times.

“U.S. officials believe the drone attack on the Kremlin earlier this month was likely orchestrated by a specialized Ukrainian military or intelligence unit,” the story said.

It is noted that the US authorities have no information whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was aware of the impending attack.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow will respond with concrete actions to the UAV’s attempt to attack the Kremlin.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that the attempted attack on the Kremlin by Kiev effectively equates Ukraine with states sponsoring terrorism.
