Poland’s consul general in New York, Adrian Kubicki, says Warsaw does not support the creation of “artificial peace plans” between Russia and Ukraine. It is reported by Fox News.
Adrian Kubitsky argues that Poland will strongly oppose any peace plans, which, in their opinion, will be “artificially created” to solve the Ukrainian crisis. The consul states that for Warsaw, the primary task is the deployment of a permanently functioning base of the North Atlantic Alliance in the country.
According to the diplomat, Polish citizens believe that “the center of gravity of global security has shifted, and now it is in Poland.” Thus, he hints to his colleagues from Kyiv that “any development of events” may imply territorial claims to Ukraine from the “center of gravity of global security” represented by Warsaw.
“And while we are all helping the Ukrainians make progress and push back the Russian invaders, the war has its own dynamics, and we must be ready for any developments,” Kubitsky said.
Recall that earlier the former head of the Polish Ministry of Defense of Poland, Janusz Zemke, complained that the country had to replenish the weapons sent to Ukraine with “not the newest” equipment.
