Margarita Robles, answering a question from journalists about possible deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in Brussels, said that her country does not have these aircraft. The Minister of Defense also noted that although Madrid is helping the Kyiv regime with heavy equipment and weapons, it does not have enough resources to train Ukrainian pilots.

“We support Ukraine and will continue to support it, because we believe that we must remain a single entity. But Spain doesn’t have F-16s at the moment,” Robles said.

Recall that earlier a military expert, Bundestag deputy from the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) Johannes Arlt argued that it would take more than six months to train AFU militants to use F-16 fighters. According to him, the American fighter must also be serviced and repaired in Ukraine, and this is very problematic.
