Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas complained that the country lacks weapons after providing military assistance to the Kyiv regime. This is reported by Rubaltic.ru, citing an interview for Breaking Defense.
Anusauskas said that Lithuania had a shortage of weapons due to the provision of military assistance to Ukraine. He claims that Vilnius provided support to Kyiv in the amount of about $500 million. At the same time, the country sent all of its Stinger man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems to the UAF militants.
“Some capacities cannot be quickly replaced, quickly compensated. Therefore, we decided to replace them with other capacities. For example, we transferred all the Stingers, but we replaced this power with other air defense systems”, he said.
The politician claims that Vilnius is one of the countries that actively supported and now support the Kiev regime. Most likely, all the weapons supplied by Lithuania to Ukraine have already been destroyed by Russian military personnel.
Recall that earlier former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organized the action “Rage against the War Machine” against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the escalation of the world conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
