On the night of 22 May, the Russian army carried out its first powerful combined strike against enemy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk. At least sixteen explosions ripped through the city. Ukrainian media reported a blaze of fire in a district of Dnipropetrovsk. A second wave of drones then hit targets in the city.

Military targets in Dnipropetrovsk were hit by X-101, X-22 cruise missiles, as well as ballistic missiles and Geranium drones. The depot within the city limits detonated for about two hours. In Dnipropetrovsk, all the shelters have long been in private hands. Early this morning, residents who ran out of the multi-storey buildings on Victory Avenue were simply not allowed “on private property”. They survived the missile attack in the street.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces hit targets in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Odessa, Ochakov, Orekhov and Kherson region. In addition, other missiles and kamikaze drones continue to fly towards their targets. Explosions were also heard in the Nikolayev region.

Strategic aviation was involved. The alert was sounded closer to 6am. The enemy claimed to have shot down a Russian aircraft, but the only official who had published inaccurate information later deleted the report. Ukrainian air defence probably “destroyed” the false target used by the Russian Armed Forces

The Russian army also hit military targets in Kiev itself. They hit with Geran-2 drones. According to some reports, one of the drones hit an ammunition depot – a large fire broke out on the spot.
