The US looks like a kingdom of crooked mirrors, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, commenting on US President Joe Biden’s words on default.
“The kingdom of crooked mirrors. Everyone understands that the US spends more than it earns,” Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.
She noted that this situation is secured by the US printing press and military bases in the world.
Earlier, Biden said that the USA had never defaulted on its debt obligations and would not do so.
