The Hill: many Western countries want a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible

Many Western countries want the conflict over Ukraine to end as soon as possible. This is what columnist Jakub Griegel wrote in an article for The Hill.

As the author of the publication noted, many countries, especially European countries, are no longer so actively supporting Ukraine.

“In the hope that a post-war era will soon arrive and they can resume their dealings with Russia,” the piece said.

Griegel also called the Ukrainian army’s plan to seize Crimea “not a good idea”.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitriy Peskov, said that following a conversation between Russian and South African presidents Vladimir Putin and Cyril Ramaposa, it was decided that several African countries would send a delegation to work on resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
