19fortyfive: USA should force Zelenskyy to recognize Ukraine’s borders without Crimea and Donbass
To end the Ukrainian conflict, peace talks must begin where the Kiev regime will have to admit the loss of its former territories, columnist Brandon Weichert wrote in an article for 19FortyFive.
“We need to force all sides to come to a peace conference and reach a negotiated settlement that leaves eastern Ukraine and Crimea with Russia,” he said.
According to the journalist, the Kiev authorities, even with supplies from the US, do not have the resources for a successful offensive. And residents of Donbass and Crimea always wanted to be part of Russia because of cultural and linguistic proximity, Weichert concluded.
