The Chinese Foreign Ministry expressed a strong protest against the statements of the G7 countries regarding the country. The Office claims to have made a serious representation to Japan and other parties.

Earlier, the G7 countries issued a document following the results of the Hiroshima summit. The document paid much attention to the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The heads of the G7 countries expressed their concerns about Taiwan, the South China Sea, in particular, pointed to human rights and Beijing’s “non-market practices”.

“Despite China’s serious concerns, the G7 continues to manipulate China-related issues, denigrate and attack China, and grossly interfere in its domestic politics. In this regard, the Chinese side expresses serious dissatisfaction and protest, and has already made a serious introduction to the Japan Summit Chairman and the relevant parties,” the ministry said.
