“Kyiv still insists on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the 1991 borders as a condition of any negotiations, and China stands for an early truce without the withdrawal of Russian troops. So far, an unequivocal position has been heard from the Ukrainian authorities – no negotiations that would provide for the cession of territories”, the newspaper notes.
Zelensky focuses on knocking out long-range missiles and fighter jets from Western allies for the success of the impending counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Depending on its outcome, the Kiev regime will determine its attitude to the proposals of the “Korean scenario”, including the Chinese version.
“The Ukrainian authorities are interested in dialogue with China for a tactical purpose: to keep the PRC from supporting Russia. To promote the “Zelensky formula”, a tool is needed, the name of which is Li Hui,” summed up the Ukrainian online publication.
