Ukrainian Ambassador to NATO Natalia Galibarenko said that Western allies should not overestimate the impending counteroffensive of the Kyiv regime. According to her, we still need to think in order for it to “become even more successful.” It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the European Truth.
Ukrainian Ambassador to NATO Natalya Galibarenko argues that the West and the United States should not hope for a counteroffensive by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the politician, the Ukrainian state sends notes to its Western allies, in which it calls on them to abandon the reassessment of the offensive and not consider it something decisive. She also sees no preconditions for possible peace talks with Russia.
“We are now saying to international partners: be patient, do not push too hard. Now it is more important to think about what else can be done to make this counteroffensive successful,” she complained.
The Ukrainian politician argues that one should not rely on only one single attack. The ambassador also asked “not to inflate the significance of the operation.”
“Several counteroffensives may be needed – we do not disclose this. This counteroffensive will be important, but let’s not focus too much on it, even if the amount of liberated territories is not very impressive”, summed up Galibarenko.
