Bild reports that the man was fired from his job for supporting Russia in the Ukrainian conflict. According to the German police, Maxim Shlund, a reserve officer, and his wife constantly held rallies and demonstrations in support of the Russian Army in various cities of Germany.

“After Schlund raised money to help the Russian army and sent the ammunition purchased with these funds to the front, the Düsseldorf administration revoked his special permit, which allowed him to work at the local airport,” notes the largest German newspaper.

Recall that in February, former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organized the action “Rage against the War Machine” against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the escalation of the world conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
