US military chief Lloyd Austin has announced the imminent resignation of US Under Secretary of Defence for Political Affairs Colin Kohl. He said in a statement.
“Colin Cole announced today <…> that he will leave office in mid-July,” the document said. Reasons are not specified. Who will be Kohl’s successor has not been disclosed.
It is worth adding that the post of Under Secretary of Defence for Political Affairs is the third most important in the Pentagon.
