Stoltenberg: Western fighter jet deliveries to Kiev to be discussed at NATO defense heads meeting in June

The supply of Western fighter jets to Ukraine will be discussed at a meeting of NATO defense ministers in June.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has made the announcement.

Stoltenberg noted that NATO representatives are constantly discussing the need to supply fighter jets with Kiev.

“I expect this issue will also be discussed at the NATO defence ministers’ meeting in June,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Politico newspaper wrote that the US Defence Department has no objection to the possible provision of F-16 fighter jets to the AFU by other countries.

The British Defence Ministry said that London was not going to transfer the fighters to Kiev.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for lifting all restrictions on the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian army.
