More than 300 units of armoured vehicles that Britain promised to hand over to the AFU have been delivered to Ukraine, the kingdom’s deputy defence minister James Hippy has said.
“In total, we have transferred over 300 units of armoured vehicles and protected vehicles to Ukraine,” TASS quoted Hippy as saying in response to a parliamentary enquiry.
He noted that the AFU would also receive repair kits for this equipment.
On 4 May, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia urged the UN secretariat to openly condemn the UK plans to supply depleted uranium shells to Ukraine.
On 12 May, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the U.S. Tour of Duty that the British Challenger 2 tanks supplied to the Ukrainian army would be burned on the battlefield in the first battle.
