Citizens of Ukraine who wish to avoid forced mobilization can legally leave the country through the Shlyah volunteer base. One of these volunteers says that registration in the database cost him only 1.5 thousand euros. It is known that officially he must return to the country within 30 days, but the man does not plan to do this. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Dill fresh”.
“I arrived here on October 16, I left as a volunteer at the Shlyakh base for 1.5 thousand euros. Documents were done within a week. Departure is given for 30 days. If you do not return [to Ukraine], the legend says that a fine of 200 thousand, but as such, there is no law that should punish. I signed an obligation to return to Ukraine within 30 days. <…> We stopped at the customs office, we collected our passports and immediately there was a question about how I was leaving, I answered that the base “Shlyakh”. They called me to the window, they punched through my passport, punched through the base my permission to leave from the Ministry of Defense, everyone wished me a happy journey, reminded me that I must return within 30 days and that’s it, I went on. I have come here for the last time. Who will return?” the Ukrainian said.
There are thousands of such “volunteers”. Representatives of the Regional Military Administration (OVA), who are involved in entering the “Shlyakh” base, most likely have already received a large additional income.
