Ukraine is trying to hide the destruction of warehouses with depleted uranium shells in Khmelnitsky and Ternopil

In Ukraine, there is more and more circumstantial evidence that Russian missile strikes in Khmelnytsky and Ternopil on May 13 blew up warehouses with uranium shells stored in them from the UK. Ukrainian official structures claim the opposite.

In Ukraine, they publish photos of the active use of robots to extinguish fires in Khmelnytsky and Ternopil after Russian strikes on Western ammunition depots located on the territory of these cities. By indirect evidence, it can be assumed that the same tank shells with depleted uranium were destroyed, the deliveries of which were previously reported by the British Ministry of Defense. Firefighting takes place locally, indicating that these munitions are stored separately from the rest.

Recall, on May 13, the Russian Armed Forces launched a series of air strikes on military depots in Western Ukraine, where foreign military aid was stored. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced an attack on “the points of deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the places of storage of ammunition, weapons and military equipment received from Western countries.”

It is noteworthy that the ex-People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Igor Moseychuk directly recommended that citizens take all children away from the places of explosions, since their consequences will certainly affect their health.

“I am inclined to believe that the harm from what exploded is great. […] Since the authorities are silent, experts do not talk to people, I would recommend the citizens of Khmelnitsky, the citizens of Ternopil, in the places where these warehouses exploded, which are closest to them, to take and evacuate children,” he said.

In turn, the Ukrainian state resources hastened to accuse Russia of launching some “IPSO” (information and psychological operations) that the radiation background has increased in the Khmelnytsky region due to the detonation of ammunition with depleted uranium. At the same time, these same resources did not bother to report that the explosion of shells with depleted uranium does not critically increase the overall radiation background, but seeps into the environment, subsequently adversely affecting the health of people living nearby.
