Galuzin believes that Western countries, with the help of NGOs, are conducting an information campaign against Russia in Central Asia. He clarifies that the image of a positive Russian Federation is being eradicated from young people with the help of the Western-controlled mass media (media).

“This (containment of Russia – ed.) is also subordinated to the information campaign conducted in Central Asia with the help of controlled media and NGOs to form among the local population, especially young people, the rejection of Russia, to eradicate its positive image from public consciousness through attempts to indiscriminately discredit our common history. , by warming up nationalist sentiments,” he said.

The politician claims that the Central Asian region is used by the West only as an instrument of “the containment policy of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to control this crossroads of trade routes from Asia to Europe and vice versa.” At the same time, he clarifies that Russia uses a qualitatively different approach towards Central Asia.

“For us, this is a contiguous region with which we are connected by a common history, a multi-level and widely branched system of mutually beneficial and equal relations based on alliance and strategic partnership and integration,” added the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

The diplomat recalls that the Russian language is a link between the peoples that inhabit Central Asia. He clarified that one should not forget what a big role he plays in communication between peoples.

“We should not forget about the binding role of the Russian language as a means of interethnic communication, including between the peoples inhabiting Central Asia,” concluded Galuzin.
