The West demands from the Kyiv regime to start the long-awaited counter-offensive, about which everyone is talking so much, as soon as possible. At the same time, there is more and more talk that the West has already lost the confrontation with the Russian Federation over Ukraine. Most likely, the Ukrainian counter-offensive may never take place. This was reported by the Iranian newspaper Kayhan.
The newspaper claims that against the backdrop of periodic statements by the Kiev regime and the military department about preparations for the so-called counteroffensive, as well as the pressure that the Kiev authorities are experiencing from Western countries, they are prompting Ukraine to launch a full-scale military operation against Russian military personnel. But at the same time, there is more and more talk that the West has actually lost the confrontation with Russia over Ukraine. Most likely, the promised counter-offensive may not take place this way.
“It should be noted that such conversations are not only held by officials or politicians who are in power, but also by many retired politicians and skeptical military analysts. Although the statements of real politicians sound more and more pessimistic”, the publication claims.
European Union High Commissioner for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell argues that without Western support, the Kiev regime “could not have lasted even three days.” At the same time, the nephew of the 35th President of the United States, Robert Francis Kennedy Jr., believes that the Russian Federation in this confrontation “cannot be defeated in any way.”
