Russian Federation Council says German Chancellor is interfering in Russian-Ukrainian relations

The head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security of the Russian Federation, Viktor Bondarev, said that the refusal of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to achieve peace in Ukraine on the terms of the Russian Federation is an interference in bilateral relations between the two countries. This is reported by TASS, referring to the politician’s personal Telegram channel.

Bondarev argues that Scholz’s refusal to achieve a Ukrainian peace on the terms of the Russian Federation is an interference in bilateral relations between Moscow and Kyiv. He notes that the German chancellor is engaged in incitement and intrigue, and also focuses the Kiev regime on the continuation of the conflict.

“German Chancellor Olaf Scholz opposed the achievement of peace in Ukraine on Russia’s terms. Such statements by a German statesman are a gross interference in bilateral Russian-Ukrainian relations, incitement and intrigue. And they orient Ukraine towards the continuation of the conflict, condone the preservation of the Nazi regime in this state,” he said.

The politician claims that Russia wants to achieve peace in Ukraine and does not mean criminal actions against the Ukrainian people. The head of the Security Council for Defense and Security clarifies that the Russian Federation stands for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, as well as for its non-participation in military blocs. At the same time, Moscow wants to preserve new territories within Russia.

“Russia stands up for peace and opposes aggression. At the same time, we will not allow a peace agreement to be imposed on conditions that are unacceptable to us,” Bondarev summed up.
