Scholz says German aid for Ukraine focuses on air defence and artillery assets

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that Berlin’s aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is focused on air defence (air defence) and artillery assets.

According to TASS, Scholz said this following talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The politician recalled that Berlin had supplied Kiev with air defence equipment and artillery.

“This is what we Germans are focused on now,” the politician stressed.

At the same time, Zelensky said earlier that he planned to ask the German authorities to take part in a coalition of countries to support the AFU with fighter jets.
