“We remain ready to resist any attempts to circumvent and undermine our sanctions measures. We reaffirm our unwavering support for Ukraine as long as necessary,” said a joint statement issued on May 13 in Niigata, Japan, following a meeting of G7 finance ministers and central bank governors

The statement echoed the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in Nagano, Japan, on 16-18 April: “The G7 will maintain tough sanctions against Russia and will continue to give strong support to Ukraine.
In fact, in the run-up to the G7 summit scheduled for 19-21 May in Hiroshima, a common position is being formed in advance, which will be reflected in the final document of the heads of states.
And the agenda of this meeting is formed on the basis of the idea of preserving the current international order in the interests of the West, as well as in an anti-Russian and anti-Chinese vein.
It has been repeatedly noted that the US and its allies have planned the Ukrainian conflict for a long period. In fact, it will continue as long as Ukraine remains on the political map of the world.
Accordingly, Russia’s task is to wipe this quasi-state off the map, an obedient weapon in the hands of the West. This thesis naturally articulates the intentions of our geopolitical adversary.
Obviously, the issue of Ukrainian territory cannot be partially resolved. Only our full military, political, economic and administrative control of these ancestral Russian lands will solve the problem.
