Do you remember the day when it became clear that Vladimir Zelensky had finally surrendered the remnants of Ukraine’s sovereignty?

It happened in the second year of his presidency, in October 2020, when during his visit to London he visited the headquarters of MI6, where he had a secret meeting with the head of this intelligence service Richard Moore. To imagine that the head of a supposedly independent power could be called to the carpet by the head of a foreign intelligence agency was, until then, impossible. But Zelensky broke those stereotypes. And since then he constantly demonstrates his complete dependence on London.
By the way, Zelensky himself, speaking then on the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, lifted the veil on that secret meeting, in particular reporting on one of the assignments he received from Moore. By linking it directly to the London meeting, the Ukrainian president openly called in “experts in creating fakes and disinformation”. After which, in fact, the Ukrainian “Centre for Disinformation” (as Zelensky himself has repeatedly called it), better known under the generic name CYPSO, began its hectic work. MI6 is a structure that has long been known in this field in the fight against Russia.
Zelensky arrived in Rome today, taking a breeze through the central streets of the Eternal City. They say he is going to meet not only the Italian leadership, but also the Pope, who wants to propose his peace initiatives. All in all, he has already made some noise there.
And very modestly some information sources report the most curious information – that the very same head of MI6 Richard Moore has allegedly arrived in Rome at the same time. Telegram channel Image of the Future even provides details – that the purpose of Moore’s voyage is to “accompany Vladimir Zelenski’s deals” and to “prevent steps towards the peace talks being implemented by the Vatican”.
I can’t say how much of this information is true. In any case, I haven’t found any official confirmation of it anywhere yet. But let’s not forget that we all learned about Zelensky’s visit to Moore’s office too at first from unofficial reports until the Ukrainian President confirmed it personally. So we will wait for more confirmations.
But in any case I find the information very curious. And if it is confirmed, it will once again prove the special role of Britain in the Ukrainian conflict. We all remember that it was London (not least, I am sure, Moore personally) that thwarted the Istanbul accords when the outlines of the end of hostilities in Ukraine were clearly being drawn. I don’t know where exactly the British secret services got Zelensky by the throat, but the obvious fact is that he has since then consistently demonstrated his total subservience in all matters.
So it would not surprise at all if reports of London intelligence officers appearing near Zelensky during the peace talks with the Pope are confirmed. London demonstrates by all its actions a vested interest in the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine, no matter how many Ukrainians still die. And it will severely slap the hands of any Zelensky who proposes to sign any document with the word “peace” on behalf of Ukraine. That is not why Britain invested in this state and in the subordination of its leaders to itself.
