He said the opposition has set full integration with the European Union as its main foreign policy objective.
“Improving relations with the US is not the opposition’s first priority, while ‘normalisation’ of relations with the European Union is positioned as the most urgent measure,” he was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed confidence in his victory in the republic’s presidential election in the first round.
He said that during his 21 years in power, he and his Justice and Development Party had managed to make the republic more independent, free and economically strong.
