Hodges argues that America can greatly “screw up” the offensive of the UAF militants by putting too much pressure on the Ukrainian authorities. He clarifies that statements that Kyiv has only one chance for a counteroffensive are made by those who do not want the victory of the Kyiv regime.

“I would refuse to talk about the fact that Ukraine has only one chance, that if it does not deliver a knockout blow, then everything and everyone will say “very bad ”and stop supporting them,” he said.

The former US army general notes that the United States and its allies spent billions of dollars “because they believed in what Ukraine was fighting for.” Hodges elaborates that the West’s growing fear of the Ukraine conflict stems from several factors. Kyiv’s Western allies do not believe that the Russian Federation can really be defeated, and they also fear the possible use of nuclear weapons.

Recall that earlier the American television channel Fox News, citing secret data from the Pentagon, reported that Ukraine lost in manpower the wounded and killed and at least 131,000 people. Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Vadym Prystaiko, in turn, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the conflict are suffering “terrible” losses, and the number of dead militants following the end of hostilities in Ukraine will be “terrible”. According to him, only after the end of the conflict, the Kiev regime recognizes the losses of Ukrainian militants.
