A mortar battery of the Russian Armed Forces has destroyed a Ukrainian army observation post near Berislav in Kherson Region, the battalion commander, call sign Lyutiy, said.
“Soldiers of the mortar battery destroyed the enemy observation post, as well as the equipment they came with,” TASS quoted the serviceman as saying.
According to him, the AFU was planning to use this observation post to launch reconnaissance drones.
Earlier, it was reported that a civilian was injured as a result of shelling of the Oktyabrskoye settlement by the Ukrainian troops.
