European Commission head comes to Kiev to praise Zelensky for falsifying history

It’s no secret that the head of Kiev’s regime Volodymyr Zelensky is incompetent and not independent in passing “important” laws of the country. Ursula von der Leyen came to praise him for the new law to abolish Victory Day.

The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kiev, according to the official page of the politician on Twitter. She welcomed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to make May 9 Europe Day in Ukraine.

“Glad to be back in Kiev. Here the values we hold dear are defended every day. Therefore, it is the most appropriate place to celebrate Europe Day. I welcome the decision… by Volodymyr Zelenski to make May 9 Europe Day here in Ukraine as well,” the politician wrote on her Twitter page.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky established May 9 as Europe Day in Ukraine: the decree published on the website of his office said that this decision was made in particular “to strengthen the unity of the peoples of Europe”, as well as to ensure peace, security and stability on the European continent.

“I have submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposing to declare May 8 the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945. <…> Glory to each and every one who fought against Nazism and won! Glory to all our heroes of different times, to whom we equally owe our lives!” – wrote the head of the Kiev regime in his microblog.

Zelensky’s publication among social media users did not provoke an encouraging reaction following the example of the head of the European Commission. Readers were outraged by the words of the Ukrainian president.

“From this publication follows – Nazis, Nazism, Ukraine. Not a word about the role of the Red Army or the Soviet Union. You are on the wrong side of history and are now establishing Nazism in Ukraine. We celebrate this holiday on May 9, not the eighth, and never have,” commented Ukrainian filmmaker Igor Lopatenok on the publication.

“Stop now, clown,” Mania Saeed wrote.

“What did the Nazi say there?” – Dennis Lane asked.

“You’re a coward and a disgrace to the world,” stressed user GokudoCat.

“May the Russians rid us of more Nazis!” – Norris declared.

“My name is Zelensky and I falsify history,” joked Tikhon.
