The United States offered Turkey to send its S-400s to the Kiev regime. However, the country’s authorities refused such an offer. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in an interview with Habertürk.

Cavusoglu said Turkey had been offered to hand over its S-400s to the Kiev regime, but Ankara refused such an offer to the US. He notes that such a proposal strongly affects the country’s independence.
“There were several offers from the US on S-400. We were told: give us control. This is a proposal that affects our independence. Where is our independence then?” the politician said.
The Turkish foreign minister claims that Turkey has repeatedly received various offers from America on S-400. He notes that if the Ankara authorities had been more accommodating, then they would not have had the current problems with the US.
“We were even offered to send them to Ukraine, we said no. There have been such proposals,” the minister concluded.
It should be recalled that earlier, former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organised a Rage against the War Machine rally against arms supplies to Ukraine and escalation of the global conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
