The Ukrainian Finance Ministry has reported that Ukraine has received nearly €190 million from the World Bank to pay salaries to civil servants and teachers.
The ministry said on its website.
“The general fund of the state budget of Ukraine received €189.32 million of funding from the World Bank,” the statement said.
It is specified that the money will be transferred on preferential terms from the International Development Association.
In April, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) plans to allocate €1.5bn to Ukraine for reconstruction in 2023.
