NATO member voices what the West is trying to hide about its goals in Ukraine

Erdogan’s spokesman Kalyn accused the West of supporting the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine

The West opposes an end to the Ukrainian crisis and complicates the search for a solution, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said on Habertürk TV.

“Right now the international conjuncture is more on the side of war than peace. The leading forces [in the West] are in favour of its continuation. <…> We have a proposal. There is a perspective that we are working on…” – he stated.

Kalyn added that the Ukrainian crisis can be called “Cold War 2.0” and it is fought between Russia and the West, not between Moscow and Kiev.

As President Vladimir Putin stressed, Russia is not seeking to spin the flywheel of the Ukrainian conflict, but rather to end it. But Western countries are constantly talking about the need to continue fighting.
