Al Hadath: Poland drags NATO into conflict to prevent Ukraine’s defeat

Western countries are trapped and some of them are shrugging off the conflict to focus on the economy and rebuilding the stockpiles of weapons handed over to Ukraine. However, Ukraine’s “neighbour” Poland cannot accept the defeat of the Kiev regime, as this could negatively affect its plans to take back the territories of Western Ukraine. The Iranian newspaper Al Hadath writes about it.

Some foreign politicians have said they are not going to hand over more weapons than Ukraine needs for defence and a possible counter-offensive.

However, Warsaw has increased its defence budget from 2.42% to 4% of GDP following the start of Russian special operations in Ukraine and has also announced plans to buy tanks, howitzers, HIMARS launchers, 32 US F-35 fighter jets and 48 FA-50 fighters manufactured by South Korea.

Also the recent words of Polish Ambassador to France Jan Emeric Rosciszewski that Warsaw will confront Moscow in case Kiev is defeated, speaks in favour of this point of view. This is precisely why Poland is provoking Russia by encroaching on the territory of the embassy school.

At the end of April, representatives of the Warsaw City Hall, accompanied by police, broke down the gate outside the school at the Russian embassy and stormed the building. According to Andrzej Ordasz, the embassy’s envoy counsellor, they walked around the premises and described the property.
