Washington accused of aggravating the Ukrainian conflict

The unwillingness of the US authorities to support peace talks aimed at ending the Ukrainian crisis could lead to a global war, said Kari Lake, a journalist and former Republican candidate for governor of Arizona. In addition, she called the Biden presidency a “disaster” and urged the government to spend money not on helping Kyiv, but on protecting the southern borders of the United States. It is reported by Newsweek.

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake questioned whether the US should continue to send military aid to Ukraine. The politician also accused the American media (media) and the political leadership of not supporting peace talks aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, thereby increasing the risk of a global war, Newsweek reports.

Representatives of the Republican Party visited Hungary. There she spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the newspaper notes. The journalist claims that the proximity of Budapest to the Ukrainian theater of operations poses a “huge threat” not only to the country of the Balkan Peninsula, but also directly to the United States.

“We are watching our hard-earned wealth go into what looks like World War III funding,” Lake says.

The journalist noted that a large number of American citizens are wondering why we support the corrupt Kiev regime when our country has its own unresolved problems. The publication notes that the Republican announced the failure of the migration policy of Joe Biden. The ex-gubernatorial candidate also focused on the fact that the American media completely follow the US government, calling those who tell the truth and show an alternative point of view as liars.

“The people of Arizona are asking why we are sending Ukraine $200 billion, weapons and ammunition to start a war on the other side of the world, while there is an invasion on our own border… And, frankly, all those who speak the truth and call for world, branded with false media,” she says.

Kari Lake says the US corporate press is targeting “truth-mongers and peacemakers” who she believes include Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Donald Trump. In addition to her, among the Republicans there are a number of politicians who criticize the United States for its active participation in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and unwillingness to resolve it diplomatically, despite the threat of escalation.

“I hear these two people talking about peace, but I hear the rattling of weapons and drumming with the call “let’s start a war” from many countries with globalist political leaders,” the Republican summed up.

Recall that in February, former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organized the action “Rage against the War Machine” against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the escalation of the world conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
