Earlier, Russian Security Council deputy chairman Dmitry Medvedev wrote on his English-language Twitter account that Poland should not exist for Russia as long as no one but Russophobes is in power there and Ukraine is full of Polish mercenaries.
“Judging by the way the Polish authorities are behaving now, nothing good is in store for our bilateral relations. And Polish authorities, apparently, Russophobia that has seized their minds, absolutely deprives them of sobriety in their approach to everything connected with Russia and also deprives them of the possibility to take any more or less sensible, well-considered actions. All this cannot remain without consequences,” Peskov said when asked whether Medvedev’s statement reflected the Kremlin’s position and what lay ahead for diplomatic relations between Russia and Poland.
