The authorities of the Russian Federation and Cuba must do everything “to strengthen friendship, cooperation, and increase trade.” This is reported by RT in Russian, referring to the statement of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.
Volodin said that the authorities of Moscow and Havana should do everything “to strengthen friendship, cooperation and increase trade.” He expressed this opinion at a meeting with the chairman of the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernandez.
The meeting of politicians and subsequent negotiations were held in the Cuban capital Havana before the first meeting of the commission on cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries. At this meeting, the parliamentarians discussed issues of legislative support in various areas: energy, healthcare, education, agriculture and tourism.
At the same time, the chairman of the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power, Laso Hernandez, accused the United States of fomenting the global and Ukrainian crisis. He believes that America is trying to shift responsibility to the Russian Federation through media pressure.
