The publication notes that “the global agenda of the American president is facing serious challenges, with the fact that developing countries are trying to move away from the growing confrontation between the United States, Russia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and in some cases use this rivalry to their own interests.” Developing countries, including Brazil, Egypt, India and Pakistan, are reluctant to support one side or the other “in an era when the US is no longer the undisputed superpower.”

According to US intelligence agencies, many influential countries want to stay away from the rivalry between Washington, Moscow and Beijing. At the same time, it is specified that the Russian Federation “demonstrates the ability to reflect the pressure of the West.”

While key U.S. allies in Europe and East Asia have backed Biden’s Ukraine campaign and are providing more weapons while ditching Russian energy, Washington has faced resistance elsewhere.
